She led product teams and drove strategy at several companies, including Knight Ridder Digital, Zvents, AT&T Interactive, and Quantcast, where she led the team that created the transparency and consent framework and launched the first CMP in Europe months before the GDPR deadline. Somer joined Amplitude in 2022 to lead product for Data, the team focused on eliminating data chaos and measuring the value of data collected by the decisions made on data insights.
